Designer

The WebMedia Factory is looking for an experienced designer to help create logos, DVD cases & labels, book covers, brochures and other marketing materials for a diverse range of US based marketing clients. This individual should have a strong background in graphic design and the ability to share skills and help other designers improve. Previous direct response marketing or agency experience a plus. A successful candidate will be able to complete multiple projects under tight deadlines. No egos. Seriously.

Responsibilities:

• Daily creation of design materials for a wide range of small business clients' logos, DVD cases & labels, book covers, brochures, email templates, ads, postcards, and more
• Regular communication with client management team, web programmers and other designers.
• Manage and complete several different projects a day.
• Contribute ideas, suggestions, skills, and more for the improvement of our design team

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years experience working as a designer or freelancer for an agency, design firm, or print house.
• In-depth understanding of design principles, color theory, etc.
• Good attention to detail, and a focus on the best outcome for the client.
• Ability to use Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, and other industry standard software a must.
• Above average speed and accuracy (if you're slower than the other designers you know, think twice before you send your resume)
• Ability to create accurate print ready files for US based print companies
• Previous experience working with other designers, managing creatives, and directing projects a must.
